Some general notes regarding directions to North Captiva Island:

North Captiva Island is only accessible by boat or private aircraft.

Access is via Pineland Marina at 13921 Waterfront Dr., Pineland, and Pine Island, FL 33945. Phone: 239-633-8142

Island Girl Charters is your gateway to North Captiva Island, providing ferry service every other hour between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. You can book your space on the ferry by calling 239-633-8142.

For airport shuttle service, I recommend Pine Island Taxi. For reservations call toll free 888-777-9653.

Publix Grocery Store will shop your order for you. Fax them your order, time of arrival, credit card # and expiration date. Their fax number is 239-458-7822. Call 239-458-8900 to confirm receipt of order.

If dock space is not included with a private home, nightly rate for dock space on Captiva Island is approximately $26 per night.

Driving Directions:

Overnight parking at Pineland Marina is available for $8.00 plus tax per night. Check in at the Pineland Marina Ship's Store to get your parking pass.

From the South or North of I-75: From I-75, get off at exit 143 (SR78, Pine Island Road) and travel west for approximately 25 miles.
You will go through Matlacha and eventually come to a 4-way stop.
Turn right (north) on Stringfellow Road. Travel for about 5 1/2 miles.
Turn left onto Pineland Road. Follow Pineland Road for about a mile.
After the road makes a hairpin right hand turn you will find Pineland Marina shortly thereafter on the left hand side.

Directions for Publix Grocery:

From I-75, take exit 143 (SR78) Pine Island Road westbound.

Turn left at the intersection of Pine Island Road and Hancock Bridge Parkway.
